Excavations and Shoring
For the construction of the building, general excavations are always made. The depth is determined at the level of stable ground. Shoring is made with usable materials extracted from the excavations. If insufficient, additional materials are used.
Foundations
Before the groundwork (depending on the quality of the ground) and after the excavations are completed, we add a 10 cm layer of C12 (B160) slurry concrete for the better placement of the reinforcement mesh.
The construction of the foundation is made according to the Static study and the designs of the Civil Engineer. When the building has a basement below ground level, the walls are made of concrete according to the Static study and the designs of the Civil Engineer, and the reinforcement is made conform to the Greek law.
If there is an adverse water table in the subsoil, we recommend, during the casting of the concrete, mixing the concrete with a waterproofing solution. After the removal of the formwork (FAB FORM), a coating to the exterior side and to the area under the ground with ESCHACOAT (one of the best sealant diaphragm with great elasticity).
The part of the walls above the ground will be coated with plaster or natural stones, as described.
ICF and reinforcement
The construction above the basement is made with the Structural System AMVIC-ICF in combination with a steel or a classic skeleton.
The ICF elements are placed between the steel skeleton and filled with high quality concrete C20/25.
In several cases we use a normal reinforcement, building the steel columns into the ICF walls.
Concrete for each floor
Non supporting, ground level.
After the connection of the supporting beams we put a structural reinforcement, T92, all over the surface, together with concrete C12/16, minimum 15 cm.
Supporting, basement and floor Steel reinforcement according to the static calculation of the responsible engineer.
Plumbing, electricity and under-floor heating works
All installations (electrical, plumbing, heating) are placed after a study performed by our mechanical engineer, in co-operation with the client.
Electrical: All basic installations with high quality materials, conduit, cable, wires, placing of sockets and switches.
Plumber work: All basic installations for water supply and drainage, placing of all sanitary ware, solar water heater and a high-pressure device for the water tank.
